As an employer, the EU does not discriminate on any grounds such as sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation.
All applicants to selection procedures will be given an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities. See also Special needs.
We will do our best to accommodate any special needs you may have when taking part in one of our selection procedures – for example a specially adapted assessment procedure or test environment, or extra time and/or large format papers or appropriate technical aids.
Application - please contact us if you need our help with the online application procedure.
Computer-based tests – these take place in centres managed by our contractor Prometric. The test centres are designed to be accessible (they should contain ramps, wide doorframes, lifts and toilets with wheelchair access). However, the test computers have been specially set up to ensure a secure testing environment and it might not be possible to adjust them. In this case, we offer you the possibility to take the tests with appropriate special adaptations.
Let us know
Please tell us about any special requirements you have as early as possible – on the initial application form if possible or as soon as a problem arises. Please also read the Guide to Open Competitions. You can always contact us for any further information.
We will check our solution with you before the test date, so that you have time to ask for more information or make further suggestions.
