Erasmus for Public Administration

The aim of this programme is to help young national civil servants dealing with EU affairs to learn more about the EU decision-making processes and the way the institutions function. It also offers excellent networking opportunities.

This 1½ week long study programme is composed of conferences, training seminars, visits to the institutions in Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg (plenary session of the European Parliament) and includes 2½ days of "job shadowing" in an institution of the participant's choice.

Three sessions per year are organised for a maximum of 45 participants per session.

The School decides on the final list of participants based on proposals from the Member States Permanent Representations to the EU.
