Certification

Permanent staff in the EU institution fall into one of two categories: assistant (AST) and administrator (AD).

Certification is a procedure that enables an assistant to become an administrator. It is open to eligible staff in all the EU institutions and agencies, each of which is responsible for the selection of candidate.
