Visit information – groups

Visitors can learn about the inner workings of the European Parliament through lively information briefings, discussions with various MEPs and a tour of the plenary chamber.

There is no admission fee for the visit but visitors must be at least 14 years old. A group visit must be booked at least two months in advance by completing the online contact form.

Visit information – individuals

Individuals may also visit the plenary chamber with a handheld multimedia-guide.

There is no need to book. Individual visitors are simply requested to be at the visitors’ entrance 15 minutes before the start of the tour (Daily visits: Monday – Thursday 10am and 3pm, Friday 10am only).

It is not possible however, to take an individual tour during a plenary session. To see the dates of forthcoming plenary sessions, consult the calendar.

How to apply for a visit

Groups: Complete the online contact form.

Individuals: No need to apply, simply go to the visitors’ entrance 15 minutes before the start of the tour.

How to get there

By bus: The closest bus stops are – ‘Schuman’ (busses 12, 21, 36, 79) and ‘Luxembourg’ (busses 12, 22, 27, 38, 54). For more details consult the location map.

By metro: The closest metro stops are – ‘Trône/Troon’, ‘Schuman’ and ‘Maelbeek/Maalbeek’
