From 21 to 24 March 2013 in Plovdiv will be held European Forum on Social Entrepreneurship.
The forum includes a European conference on "Social entrepreneurship - the basis for sustainable growth" Second European Fair of social enterprises and cooperatives for people with disabilities.
Organizers of the European Forum the European Commission, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the European Confederation of production cooperatives and social enterprises and the Agency for Persons with Disabilities.
It involved nine national organizations represented by 70 specialized cooperatives and social enterprises - National Union of Worker Producers' Cooperatives, the National Union of Cooperatives of the Disabled, the National Federation of Employers of disabled people, the Union of the Deaf, Blind Union, the Association of Parents of children with epilepsy, the National Centre for Mental Health Research, the Union of the Disabled and the National Alliance for Social Responsibility.
At present fair and 17 foreign social structures from Belgium, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Austria, Norway, Greece and Malta.
This forum representatives of the European Commission, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the European Confederation of production cooperatives and social enterprises (SEKOP) will present new aspects of EU policy in the development of social entrepreneurship and promoting the employment of people with disabilities.
The forum will also allow for the exchange of experiences and best practices among members of this social group for implementation of business contacts and marketing.
The event will contribute to the further development of social entrepreneurship, social economy and promote employment of people with disabilities.
