EU4Jobs information stand at the EU Open Doors in Brussels

Address: Berlaymont building, 10:00-18:00

To celebrate Europe Day in the weeks leading up to the European elections, the EU institutions will open their doors to the public in Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg. Local EU offices in Europe and all over the world will also organise a variety of activities and events for all ages.

In Brussels, the EU Open Doors - Festival of Europe will take place on 17 May.

This year, the Open Doors of the European Commission focus on concrete achievements and actions for its citizens - including those looking for a job, an apprenticeship or a chance to develop their skills.

The "EU4Jobs" information stand, one of the many that the Berlaymont building will host, will give information on what the EU is doing to help citizens get ready for the job market. Some examples:

  • The widely known European mobility portal, EURES, gives online access to over a million jobs every day.
  • The European Social Fund is Europe's main tool for supporting jobs, helping people get better offers and ensuring fairer job opportunities for all EU citizens.
  • The Youth Guarantee ensures that every young person gets a good labour market opportunity within 4 months.

Are you seeking more information on the various European actions available to you? Why not get involved with us and join our EU4Jobs stand on 17 May from 10:00 to 18:00!
