The Cultural Strategy, Planning and Assessment bureau (GEPAC) of the Secretary of State for Culture, in partnership with the Jacques Delors European Information Centre and the European Commission Representation in Portugal, will organize on 20th March at the European Commission Representation in Portugal headquarters(Lisbon) an infoday on the Europe for Citizens Programme (ECP).
This infoday represent an excellent opportunity to civil society organizations increase skills on how to develop successful projects, allowing at the same time, close contact with experts on the ECP. The session will begin with the presentation of the results and challenges of the program between 2007 and 2013, highlighting two examples of successful projects in Portugal. Other presentations will introduce the "Europe for Citizens" 2014-2020 and the European Year of Citizens 2013. In the afternoon, the focus will be on a practical session aiming at funding opportunities, preparing successful applications, finding the right partners, matching the eligibility criteria and knowing the rules of implementation and selection. This initiative is the follow-up of a previous Infoday on “Europe for Citizens Programme” that occurred on November 6, 2012.
