- 1 Page views
All complete pages displayed. Images, icons, thumbnails, graphics and all other page components, as well as
pages accessed for indexing by search engines, robots, spiders, monitors etc., are not counted as page views.
- 2 Number of visits
All visits to any site on EUROPA. A visit is considered to have ended when the visitor does not perform
an action for a specified period of time (usually 30 minutes).
- 3 Unique visitors
The number of visitors who visit a site during a period of reporting time (one day, one month etc.). A unique visitor can make more than one visit during a period.
New
As of 2004, statistics are analysed by a new tool. Previous values like 'document', 'image', 'other', 'error' and 'total hits' are no longer displayed. They have been replaced by key figures, such as 'page views', 'visits' and 'unique visitors'.
