"Venti di Erasmus"

The University of Bologna is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Erasmus programme on 9-10 May, with an event which will gather together representatives of Italian and European Institutions, students, lecturers and the general public. Activities will take place in Rimini on 11-12 May with the “Erasmus village” initiative that will involve people in debates, exhibitions, sports, concerts and much more.

The celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Erasmus programme is one of the major events of this year marking the EU’s 50th birthday.

"Venti di Erasmus" celebrates the most successful university exchange programme in the world, which has involved about one and a half million young Europeans and has strongly helped build up a common European identity and culture.

This event is connected with the third edition of “Europe Day”, an event taking place on the same occasion in Rimini, involving high school students from the 27 EU countries as well as from Norway and Turkey.
