European pathways, united in diversity for 50 years.

What is the EU? What does it offer? Where is it taking us? Workshops and debates will draw on the value and richness of European beliefs, ideas and experiences.

The event will bring together distinguished intellectuals and politicians who are expert in different areas. They are: Maurice Faure, Enrique Baron Crespo, Philippe Douste-Blazy (tbc), Bronislaw Geremek, Catherine Lalumière, Alain Lamassoure, and Gérard Onesta.

The conference will highlight how to sketch out Europe’s future by examining the EU’s last 50 years of development.

The event is being organised by the Universities of Toulouse I and II to mark the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome.
